The Wider and Deaper EU – WIDE Project is an initiative of ADN Business Academy – Teacher Training Centre being implemented on the basis of a Grant Agreement with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) financed by the European Union under the Jean Monnet Programme (// ERASMUS-JMO-2024-OFET-TT).
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the Wider and Deeper EU – WIDE project is to promote the values and culture of European citizenship among Polish teachers, trainers and students.
Equipping Polish teachers and trainers with knowledge about the European Union will allow them to become “Ambassadors of EU values” for their students and training participants.
As a result of participation in the project, teachers will acquire unique skills, competences and knowledge about the European Union, the European integration process, European institutions and their functioning in shaping long-term European policies and strategies that affect and improve the lives of citizens of European Union countries.
The WIDE project also aims to analyze the benefits of Poland’s accession to the European Union, draw conclusions, identify best practices, and use them as case studies and examples to implement fundamental European values in practice. These values can then be incorporated into curricula and training programs in schools and educational centers.
Activities organized within the Jean Monnet Program create new opportunities for the professional development of teachers and trainers in the field of the European dimension of education.
